no matter

A dear friend shared this with me yesterday…. and am so glad she did….

Jeremiah 29:11– For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope. ”

Im thankful for scripture to turn to…
no matter what situation we are in, we can have peace in knowing our God is faithful and sovereign….

this post makes me smile 🙂

It’s amazing how much the word of God can be use in many ways

    2 Ti3:16
All Scripture is inspired by God and is useful to teach us what is true and to make us realize what is wrong in our lives. It corrects us when we are wrong and teaches us to do what is right.

That is an awesome verse to hold on to! So many times we stress ourselves out because we can’t see the big picture. We don’t know where God is leading us, and when a door closes, we get all upset over it. Meanwhile, He is always caring for our needs, and leading us to where He wants us to be.

Amen, Drea! This verse has been so encouraging to me lately. My older sister has recently taken her 4 kids and left her abusive husband, my Grandpa is in the hospital dying, as we speak and my Uncle is in the ER undergoing tests for an unknown heart condition! Its in these times I start to feel overwhelmed with it all and then remember that none of this catches God off guard. He’s not overwhelmed by it the way I am. He’s there, taking care of us, walking us through every step and adding grace to grace in order to help and lead us. God is so good!
