Genetically altered Bananas?

Caleb threw these into the grocery cart today…
I didn’t realize their size until I got home.

Seriously… these have got to be genetically altered bananas…

bananas

Interesting fact about myself too, that some may not know.
Bananas are one of the only fruits I DONT like – unless its cooked in a banana bread.

My boys however, and husband, love them.

OMG! we get bananas like that in the dining hall ALL THE TIME! except ours are fair trade so i’m pretty sure they’re not genetically altered…and then we get a bunch of itty bitty ones too from the same place…i think bananas are just a strange fruit.
but yours could potentially be genetically altered

We get bananas that big here in Australia regularly. I doubt they are GM but they probably have travelled a long way to get to you though.

There’s a good chance those are nomal bananas. There are all kinds of banana varieties available. There’s a red colored variety we get here in India that is supposed to be a very good “first food” for babies. Also there are teeny tiny bananas about the size of my pinkie that have immunity boosting properties!

Just come to India….I’ll take you around the banana markets!

I can’t eat them either 😦 only on a Peanut butter sandwich or on ice cream… never alone!
