Many of you have been e-mailing, facebooking and leaving comments, as to what “Baltic Amber” is… and where I buy it.
I was introduced to this by my friend Kate, who used/uses it with her son Phin. I will be totally honest… I was a bit skeptical and really just drawn to them because they looked cute on her kids. 🙂 Im all for natural living and organic products… but the idea of a necklace helping with teething, seemed silly to me. After all… its a necklace.
Now here I am with an almost 7 mo. old baby, who has two teeth… has been wearing Baltic Amber since a few months old… and he has yet to get an ear infection, he has yet to acquire a fever, he has been the calmest baby out of all our boys… and I actually had no idea he had even gotten a tooth, until one day he discovered he could bite my finger while walking in IKEA wearing him in a Beco. He had a tooth! Yet before getting that tooth, besides a little bit of drooling, I never really noticed any signs of pain or discomfort. Coincidence?
Sure, maybe… but I really believe it was the help of the baltic amber he was wearing.

To those who are nervous that putting a necklace on a baby is dangerous.
Like anything, just be wise. I would never put something on my baby that I was scared would harm him.
The necklaces are made safe for babies… but use common sense 🙂
The necklaces should not be dangling down low.
Owen wears a size 11 1/2 inch. and its plenty big for him, yet not so long that he can find it and chew or tug.
All 3 of my boys wear Amber now. Including myself!
I also have tried Hazelwood to help with my eczema. My eczema is very severe and I have seen some change, but not a ton. Each persons eczema is different however, and if you have it, I suggest you at least try it! I have eczema, and would love to see how well this works for me. The Malachite Round Hazelaid necklace is lovely. But then again they all are! I really like the Baltic Amber Milk & Cognac Mix or the Dark Green as well! See, can’t decide.
