Slow Saturday

Today has gone really slow.
Im sorta moody…
Those days are never fun… for ANYONE.
I felt like all I did this morning was CLEAN… which is true. I wish Saturdays could be the day I get to sit around and be a lazy mom… watch TV.. turn on the sprinkler…let Caleb run around in the sun… sit back and do NOTHING… but its always a day I spend cleaning… I hope once we get settled… that maybe I can get into a routine that will leave Saturday for an off day… and Sunday! 🙂
We shall see!
Atleast I did get a nap in! Thanks to Travis.

Then we will be out of town for a few days.

I know how you feel about slow days. I have quite a few of those. As the phrase goes “time flies when you are having fun”. When you don’t do anything it seems like the day drags on and on.Great photo of Caleb in the BBO.

Today I had 2 new tires put on my car, went to the grocery store, and the bank, then home for a 2 hour nap!! TheFM and theBeast took naps with me too…family nap! Then I made a delicious dinner I found on the TastyVegan site! Mmmmmm….I did NO CLEANING! Unless you count doing a load of diapers cleaning. Hope you start feeling better!

“lazy mom”…it seems contradictory, doesn’t it? ;)I’d welcome more lazy mom days. Our Saturdays are spent cleaning and running errands, too. At least we’re doing them together!

Oh for a lazy day… Monday could be (I hope). Tomorrow is Canada Day, so we actually get Monday as the holiday, since Canada Day is on Sunday. Believe it or not, pretty much everything is still closed on Sundays in the little city where I live! So, that means Keith will be home to help me a bit.
