Skeezits!

Please tell me I am not the only one who constantly gets these new growths of hair… that WILL NOT lay flat.. I will go a while some times without seeing these… then all of a sudden the just SPROUT back up… I call them….

Skeezits! They just stick out! Its almost like ear hair.. except its not coming from my ears (praise the Lord)… but its just really odd looking.. and makes it almost impossible to wear my hair up.. without putting a million bobby pins in it!

I hear we loose over 100 hairs on our head A DAY.. so I suppose its a good thing I get “new growth.” HAHA… but couldnt it like grow flat, rather than straight out?! Im cracking myself up… SKEEZITS!!! I know I cant be alone in this 🙂

Also the photo of me wearing Taite on my back in a Mei Tai… is just a preview for you 🙂 Isnt that the cutest most SOUTHERN Mei Tai EVER! Its really affordable as well.. thats the best part 😀 I posted that to show you a back view of my “skeezits” sticking out. See them? Lovely.

That Mei Tai looks almost exactly like my quilt!! How funny! And yes, I have skeezits too, right at my temples though. Quite interesting some days!

  3. The Flip Flop Mamma! says:

You are too funny!! I can’t say that I’ve ever had “Skeezits” but SlowMo does!!! haha, she gets these new growths around her forehead!! Poor kid.

  4. mAsOn & tErrI's mOm says:

What is a skeezit? You face OMG!!! LOL!!

  5. Knitting Mama says:

I’m still losing hair due to the pregnancy. Clumps come out when I shower…. it’s starting to get annoying. I’d take “Skeezits” over that anyday! Doc says the hair loss should last only 6-9 months, and since Sean just turned 6 months yesterday, maybe soon it’ll stop happening!

  6. Stam House says:

I have them too but instad like the rest of my hair they grow curly!Lov the mei tei!, but the way to ansewere your question about the wrap Its a cotton polyester blend (from a bed sheet hahaha) it’s very confortable, I find that the gauze materiel tent to sag after a while but not this materiel.

  7. Drea says:

CHUNKS just like you. Hers grew back though and she now has pleanty to spare 😉 so keep those spirits high!~ StamHouse,Gauze is a tad stretchy, not as stretchy as jersey knit 😉

  8. Kell Rees says:

I get those all the time, but i get them everywhere!Right now i have them above my ears (like your) i am constantly wearing bobby pins to keep them back, i also get them underneath my hair kinda at the bottom of the back of my neck and at the top of my forehead, Those are the worst, they stick strait out and theres nothing you can do with them!thats hilarious that you call them”Skeezits” i’ve never heard that one before:-)I

  9. Elizabeth F. says:

I have those darn growths of hair as well. They drive me crazy and take forever to grow out it seems. I thought I was the only one who was weird. LOL!Love the Mei Tei.

  10. Nancy says:

I LOVE the mei tai!! I have a blog by the way 🙂 I just made it, I’d love for you to stop by some time!

  11. Da' Diva says:

LOL I don’t call them skeezits but yes they do exist and it is usually in my bang area so when I go to straighten my bangs with the curling iron instead of straightening down they want to stand straight up. The are underneath the bangs so the whole bang area is sticking straight out like a board. So annoying.

  12. Haley-O says:

You look ADORABLE in that pic!!! Those hairs happen after you have your babies I think. It’s the old hair growing back. They’re CUTE, anyway! I LOVE the mei Tai!!!!

  13. Gina says:

That’s one of your random interesting things about you for the next time you’re tagged. About the last post – I say just one of you and Travis.

  14. Tirzah says:

  15. Drea says:

I get the bang Skeezits 2! I got some now actually, but because I have bangs over top of them, they dont bug me as much.

  16. Sharon says:

That carrier is nice! Where did you get that one? Cute fabric. 🙂

  17. thekirnancrib says:

i gotcha there girl… the bang ones are especially annoying!

  18. Jamie says:

Hi Drea….new to your blog. Can I just say your kids are extremely cute!! Hmmmm…everybody has experienced skeezits….don’t think I have though. I hope I’m not just losing!! 🙂

  19. Sheena says:

You’re so silly Drea, SKEEZITS!! That’s hilarious. I have a skeezit in the back of my head (neck area) that will not lay down after brushing or put cream on it. It just wants to be it’s on little curly tail.
